Who would you like to see Joell collaborate with?

Producers, rappers, singers, whoever. Let us know in the comments.

Nothing is guaranteed, of course. But it would be dope to hear who you guys think Joell should work with.

Who knows, maybe he’ll get some ideas…

For me, I thought his collabo with Sheek Louch & Kool G Rap on Statik Selektah’s “Six In The Morning” was pretty damn ill.

ideally P.U.N., but the kid Mickey Factz is type clever. Let me think, the Re-Up Gang, Skillz or Saigon: The Joe Buddens shit might prevent that tho. Jay or better yet, Sauce Money, who I’m sure is ghost writing for some lyric-deficient young boi. Andre 3000 or Del might not work but Rass Kass or Canibus might.

    Hmm…

You and Crooked I over a hot beat would be song of the year, no doubt.

You and Budden should collab again as well, your styles go well together, definitely collab w/ Budden again.

You and Elzhi would be another good collab, he’s a lyrical monster so I think you two would go well together.

You and Termanology would be fucking amazing, perfect combo of style, flow and lyricism.

I would like to see a NY come up banger anthem by Joell, Red Cafe, Saigon, Mickey Factz, and whoever else is on the come up but those are my fav. I guess you can throw in Maino but I don’t feel his music at all. Get Just Blaze or Swizz Beatz to produce it.

Joell, Nas & Game with Marsha Ambrosius. She’s my fav current soul singer and she can really tear up the tracks.

Busta and Joell Track to bring the crazy flows

and lastly a Lupe, Jay Electronica, and Joell Track to really challenge the masses.

First off, you gotta get someone who’s ego is in check because there’s good chance that you’re gonna murder someone in the booth. But here’s my J.O. and whoever wishlist:

    1) Gang Starr
    2) KRS-One
    3) Jay-Z
    4) Alicia Keys (something like that “New York State of Mind” remix w/ Nas and Rakim)
    5) Rock from Heltah Skeltah
    6) Redman
    7) Eminem

can’t wait for the Free Agent joint to drop. You’re what the game needs right now. B-more is on board.

**OOPS I POSTED THIS ON THE WRONG POST BELOW THIS ONE**

Honestly i think this is out of left field, but i would like to see you get on a track with Asher Roth who is down with SRC.

He has his mixtape out with DJ Cannon of the Philly Aphilliates called The Greenhouse Affect.

I think his site is thedailykush.com

    The dude is ill.

  25. August 12, 2008 at 9:26 pm

    One more thing.

I read some where that some dude is holding like 6 vocal track from Big PUN; in a fantasy world i would love to hear through rumors that you and some goons cracked his fucking skull and sold you them tracks so you and PUN can murder a track properly and make all these lame rappers out now shit themselves seeing how a past/current greats make great hip-hop music.

    Joell x Premier = FIRE
    same goes for Ye

Mickey Factz isn’t really the same style but that would be dope

    Dont lose Buddens digits either

I wouldnt mind a Focus production if you are still cool with that side of things

Busta and Joell definitely be nice especially with Busta taken it back recently

    Co-Sign that Crooked I collab

Joell ft. Clipse (Prod. Neptunes) that would be NICE

Matter of fact i don’t give a shit as long as Joell is on it

I’d love to hear you on some Swizzy Beats/ Dr.Dre Beats but those are obvious lol.

Sha Stimuli is a beast too, so make sure you get him for a few songs.

I would love to hear you on some “Maestro” beats. The Ice Cube song “Rap Made me Do it” is awesome. It’s amazing beat.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-Z_LO2ckS8 <– “Gangsta Rap Made me Do it” Try hooking up with that Producer.

I just want hot songs and beats do count because you don’t have lyricists selling out stadiums, Music counts too.

Joell w/ Old verses from Pun , Biggie, then have Jay ,Eminem, and Naz. Lyrical GIANTS!!!!!!!
How about Mos Def and Talib Kweli and Black Thought, oh Lupe too. Treach, he’s been gone for a min. Gotta do 1 w/ Joe, but you might have to co-write his verse.lol, just buggin’ homie. How about a song with 3 mc’s and you . start with and old school mc on da 1st verse w/8 bars then you spit 8 with same flow. On 2nd verse get an mc ,a lil newer, maybe from da 90’s spittin’ 8 bars then you spit 8 w/ same flow. On 3rd verse you get a relevent mc now on 8 bars ,then you spit your true fiyah on your last 8. 1st/Krs/ Chuck D / or Rev Run. 2nd – Grand Puba, Raekwon, or Lauryn hill( she’s in my top 7 all-time). 3rd anyone now, but mc w/ distinctive flow; or any mc w/ lil or young in their name. Nah, just an ill mc.as for production….. Me! really, I would luv to hear you on 1 of Timbo’s joints. wait… same idea. 3 different producers for each verse! Also homie, I know you’re reppin’ for us Puertoricans and for true hip-hop in general, but a few joints with Latin flav. homeboy.. By da way Latino remix is gettin all mix it votes and not 1 fix it on http://www.wemix.com (Ludacris site) Produced by me w/ Salsa horns and bass. check under Puertorock, You’ll see da piano on da pic.. Peace and respect Joell.

i would like to hear joell over a couple of ‘premo beats. i think that it would be ill to have ‘premo produce a couple of new beats for joell, being that ‘premo is one of the pioneers of the real hip hop sound and being that joell is one of the only new dudes who deserves to be on a ‘premo beat.

as far as a collaboration, i would like to see him in the studio wit jada, nas … that’s the only two dudes i can think of the top right now. peace.
